The Holy Land- Jerusalem : Jerusalem- the center of the world. Sacred to all three monotheistic religions: Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Jerusalem became the birthplace of Christianity in the first century AD, one thousand years after David. As the location of both the Crucifixion and Resurrection of Jesus Christ, Jerusalem is also referred to as the Holy City of this faith. While Constantine spread Christianity throughout the Roman Empire in the 4th century, the Christian desire to reclaim the Holy Land from the infidels arose a millennium after the Crucifixion, when the Crusaders slaughtered and exiled both Muslims and Jews. Christian reign of the city lasted approximately 100 years until the Muslims led by Saladin finally recaptured Jerusalem.

The Holy Land- The Western Wall : The Western Wall in the midst of the Old City in Jerusalem is the section of the Western supporting wall of the Temple Mount which has remained intact since the destruction of the Second Jerusalem Temple 70 A.D.It became the most sacred spot in Jewish religious and national consciousness and tradition by virtue of its proximity to the Western Wall of the Holy of Holies in the Temple, from which, according to numerous sources, the Divine Presence never departed. It became a center of mourning over the destruction of the Temple and Israel's exile, on the one hand, and of religious - in 20th century also national - communion with the memory of Israel's former glory and the hope for its restoration, on the other. Because of the former association, it became known in European languages as the "Wailing Wall".

The Holy Land- Church of the Holy Sepulchre : The Church of the Holy Sepulchre, also called the Church of the Resurrection by Eastern Christians, is a church within the walled Old City of Jerusalem. The site is venerated as Golgotha (the Hill of Calvary), where Jesus was crucified, and is said also to contain the place where Jesus was buried (the sepulchre). The church has been an important Christian pilgrimage destination since at least the 4th century, as the purported site of the resurrection of Jesus.

The Southern Cross can be seen from virtually anywhere on the island and the surrounding seas. Its name has seafaring roots--christened after the constellation responsible for saving the lives of sailors by providing them with direction from the night sky. The cross also serves as a lighthouse to many fishermen in Taytay Bay who get lost during storms at sea. At the end of a leisurely stroll along the 180-meter east catwalk is the Octagon. The tomb is located in a corner of a room situated on the ground floor remains of the former Hagia Zion Byzantine church; the upper floor of the same building has traditionally been viewed as the Cenacle of Jesus.
